Welcoming the Month of Cheshvan
Friday, Oct. 28, 2022, at 7:15PM
Cheshvan is the eighth month on the Hebrew calendar. The number “8” signifies eternal revelation and new beginning. The flood began in the month of Cheshvan bringing judgment upon the earth and ended the following year in the same month with a covenant of great grace. It was in the month of Cheshvan; Noah brought his sacrifice to God and God swore never again to bring a flood. God revealed the sign of His covenant with the world in the seven colors of His rainbow.
This is a good month to reflect upon what happens when flood waters move in? Think about when Sandy hit NJ and the result of the flooding. Ask the Lord to bring a cleansing in your home, your community, and our government of NJ. Ask Him to uncover roots that need to be removed and reveal healing solutions.
This is the only month on the Hebrew calendar that does not have any holidays. The Jewish people believe this month is “reserved” for the time of Messiah, who will inaugurate the third Temple in this month.
As we come together, we will worship and consider all of the above and so much more. It is the month of the tribe of Manasseh. We will take a look at the tribe of Manasseh. Gideon was from the tribe of Manasseh.
We will seek Holy Spirit revelation as we intercede under His direction for our state and our families.
We will gather at 7:15 pm in North Jersey and at 7:30 pm on zoom.
