I firmly believe entering a submitted time of worship led by the Spirit of God is powerful. It births effective, powerful worship that then paves the way toward effective intercession that will avail much.

Pray as Led by the Holy Spirit for the Upcoming Elections in His Garden State and Across the Nations

‘And in a similar way, the Holy Spirit takes hold of us in our human frailty to empower us in our weakness. For example, at times we don’t even know how to pray, or know the best things to ask for. But the Holy Spirit rises up within us to super-intercede on our behalf, pleading to God with emotional sighs too deep for words.’ Romans 8:26 TPT

Pray strategic prayers as led by the Spirit of the Living God. Partner with the Lord to release a drawing of the body of Christ to vote and vote in agreement with Kingdom! Declare all hindrances to an honest election be removed.

October Prayer Proclamation: Mercy Over America

Repentance

Lord, You say … “if Your people who are called by Your name will humble themselves, and pray and seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin and heal our land” (2 Chron. 7:14).

We understand that we are a people in need of repentant hearts over our transgressions against Your Word. Therefore, we come humbly to You, submitting our hearts in order to avoid calamity.

“Now, therefore,” says the Lord, ‘Turn to Me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning.’ So, rend [tear out or tear into pieces] your heart, and not your garments; return to the Lord your God, for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness; and He relents from doing harm” (Joel 2:12-13).

We “Repent and turn to You, Lord, so that our sins may be wiped out, and that times of refreshing may come” (Acts 3:19). We forsake our own ways and thoughts so that You will have MERCY on us (Isaiah 55:7). For “To the Lord our God belong MERCY and forgiveness” (Daniel 9:9a).

Mercy on America

Mercy is Your eager response, Father. It is Your loving desire to forgive, cleanse, and restore the broken. “You do not retain Your anger forever, because You delight in MERCY” (Micah 7:18).

We proclaim, “Thou, O Lord, art good and ready to forgive; and plenteous in MERCY unto all them who call upon Thee” (Psalm 86:5).

“Through Your MERCIES, Lord, we are not consumed, because Your compassions fail not. They are new every morning and great is Your faithfulness” (Lam. 3:22-23).

Yahweh, just as You said to Israel, please speak this over our nation: “In returning and rest you shall be saved; in quietness and confidence shall be your strength” (Isaiah 30:15).

Do not forsake America! We call upon the same words that were spoken over Israel: “In Your great MERCY You did not utterly consume them nor forsake them; for You are God, gracious and MERCIFUL” (Neh. 9:31).

We stand to declare You as our Judge, our Lawgiver and our King (Isaiah 33:22). We further proclaim Your Word: “MERCY triumphs over Judgment” (James 2:13).

Therefore, (state) will come boldly, with confidence in who You are, before the throne of grace, that we may obtain MERCY and find grace to help in time of need” (Hebrews 4:16). America is in a time of need and nothing will satisfy except Your MERCY.

“Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to the election of grace” (Rom. 11:5). Yahweh, hear us, Your remnant on the earth and have MERCY on our nation. For You are “…compassionate and gracious, slow to anger, abounding in love” (Psalm 103:8).

“For You, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in MERCY to all those who call upon You” (Psalm 86:15). Spare America as You spared Nineveh when they repented (Jonah 3). “Remember, O Lord, thy tender MERCIES and thy loving-kindnesses” when You think of America” (Psalm 25:6a).

Adonai, just as You had plans for Israel, You have plans for America. “For I know the plans that I have for you,’ declares Yahweh, ‘plans for peace and not for calamity, to give you a future and a hope. Then YOU WILL CALL UPON ME and COME and PRAY to ME, and I WILL LISTEN to you. You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart” (Jer. 29:11-13).

We cry out to access that MERCY on behalf of our nation for as it is written in Psalm 136, You, Creator God, never run out of MERCY! For “God, is rich in mercy, for His great love, wherewith He loved us” (Eph. 2:4).

We stand before You Father, remembering David’s heart who asked you to “blot out his transgressions according to Your lovingkindness and according to the multitude of Your tender MERCIES” (Psalm 51:1).

We position our hearts in the same manner knowing that “the eye of the LORD is upon those that fear Him, upon them that hope in His MERCY” (Psalm 33:18). Therefore, we ask for Your MERCY as we approach the midterm elections.

While we deserve to be slaves under an evil king, we ask You for MERCY and to give us righteous leaders in all levels of our government.

Yahweh, we implore You to place Your hand on the scale of these elections and to give us leaders who love You and Your ways, who will govern righteously.

For as it is written, that “You show MERCY unto thousands of them that love You Lord and keep Your commandments” (Deut. 5:10). Show MERCY on our nation!

Mercy & Protection Over Elections

As it is written in Matt. 18:19, that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.” Therefore, we ask You today for Your goodness and MERCY on our nation.

“You are a shield to all those who put their trust in You” (Proverbs 30:5) and therefore, we stand armed with Your Word and declare, “You are our shield and we put our trust in You.” Therefore, we ask for Your shield to protect America in these elections.

“Dishonest [deceptive] scales are an abomination to the Lord, but a just weight is His delight” (Prov. 11:1). Just as You did in Daniel’s day, weigh the deeds of our enemy and when they are deceitful, pull back the veil, expose them and put them to shame. (Dan. 5:27 & Eph. 5:12)

We pray for intervention of Your hand to reveal any plans of the enemy and that all illegal votes are identified, disregarded, and not counted. We ask that every scheme of the enemy related to elections be thwarted, uncovered, discontinued and unraveled.

We pray that the fear of the Lord will cause the Supervisor of Elections to carefully fulfill all their offices’ responsibilities, to be alerted to problems, and to swiftly, rightfully, and fully deal with problems, dishonesty, and fraud. We ask for righteousness to be demonstrated by each legal voter being allowed one vote, counted and reported.

We pray Father, that You remove from office all those that live ungodly lives, that promote unbiblical, anti-God values and principles, or who stand against the apple of Your eye, Israel. Remove those who stand against life and vote for a culture of death.

We pray that candidates that promote biblical values and principles, live their lives accordingly and vote for a culture of life will win elections and be seated in positions of authority to honor You, Lord.

And we pray asking for protection over our military, airports, water supplies, technology and any other area the enemy is targeting in our nation.

Closing

We honor Your position as Creator God by declaring Psalm 59, “Unto Thee, O my strength, will I sing; for my God is our defense and the God of our MERCY.” We will sing of Thy power; yea, we will sing aloud of thy MERCY in the morning; for You are (state) defense and refuge in the day of trouble” (vs 16-17).

We ask for favor over our nation during the elections.

Jesus, Your blood speaks eternally from the MERCY seat and we receive that MERCY over (state).

• PRAY and meditate on 2 Chronicles 7:14 “…if Your people who are called by Your name will humble themselves, and pray and seek Your face, and turn from their wicked ways, then You will hear from heaven, and will forgive our sin and heal our land.”
• PRAY for God to have mercy on our nation. “Remember, O Lord, thy tender MERCIES and thy loving-kindnesses” when You think of America” (Psalm 25:6a).
• PRAY for protection over our election processes and that only citizens of the United States of America are able to cast one vote.

Seek the Lord and ask Him what He would have you pray over our nation.
